This Week's Challenge: Silence

It is time for our weekly challenge! Challenging ourselves is pivotal in our growth. Often we let ourselves stay in our comfort zone. however, discomfort is the key to improvement. For this week, I have a particularly challenging homework assignment for everyone.

Once this week, sit in complete silence for an hour.

We're easily distracted. In today's world there a literally thousands of distractions around us. The internet, T.V., the radio, and our phones. Rarely do we sit with our thoughts. It is time we reconnect with ourselves.

Here are the rules:

No talking
No distractions (No TV, music, internet, phone, dogs, video games, no reading, etc)
No SLEEPING! (we need to sit with our thoughts, not fast forward our hour.)


This challenge seems dead simple, but you'll find it very hard to keep to your thoughts. Be aware of them, follow them, and find out a little about who you are.
