This Week's Challenge: Service Before Self

I've served nearly 10 years in the United States Air Force. In that time, one core value has spoken to me more than any other. "Service Before Self."

It's time to transition that core belief to the civilian world!

Your challenge: perform an act of service. Volunteer your time to help a cause you believe in! From giving time to a local homeless shelter to helping a friend in need, I want you to be altruistic.

I want you to be a beacon of service in your community. Giving money to charity doesn't count. Many people donate and forget, I want you to give something that we all have in equal amounts: Your time.

Be great, be fantastic, and serve the greater good. Make an effort to improve your community or further a cause you believe in!
